"Join the Journey" Benjamin Franklin said, "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." These words are just as important today as they were then, and that is why the LEF continues its ongoing journey to enrich students' educational experiences and lives. LEF is a fundraising organization founded by parents, alumni, and local residents.  We are driven by our passion to promote funding for high interest projects that would not otherwise be possible through our local school budget. We believe the fruits of our efforts support not just "projects", but rather new and innovative programs that stay with students long after the lesson has concluded.  We encourage teachers, as well as the greater education community to apply for a grant that will make an impact on our community's children. With programs like these, there is no end to the possibilities of growth and development that our children can achieve. LEF wants to continue its meaningful journey in 2010-2011.  I ask that each reader of our newsletter get on the bus by making a donation today, even if it is only $10.
